BE HUMBLE & CROWNED

"The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:......
I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’
But the tax collector stood at a distance. .....
.but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’"
 Luke 18:11-13

Two people went to pray (plead).
 One boasted (sing his own praises) himself to the core at his madness.
 He bragged (blow his own trumpet) about his wealth, eminence and excellency.
 He was ignored (flouted).

Another one was broken and humbled (bring down) himself.
 He shed his tears terribly at the Lord's feet.
He cried and was crowned in His heart.
 He lowered (hand down) himself;
 God remembered (dredge up) him and lifted (pick up) him high.
