If imperfect parents know how to lovingly
take care of their children and give them what they need,
how much more will the perfect heavenly Father
give the Holy Spirit’s fullness when his children ask him.”

If a child, who belongs to a low income (middle-class) family
asks for a ‘beautiful chain’ (shimmering neckband),
will the father buy a ‘bicycle chain’ (shining rubberband)?
He is not in a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game.
Even as bad as he is, he wouldn’t think of such a
thing — he would at least be decent to his own children.
Whatever his situation (provision) may be, he will buy (purchase) the best.
And don’t you think the Father who conceived you in love
will give the Holy Spirit when you ask him?
Yes, the heavenly Father certainly gives the Holy Spirit
as a comforter (companion) to anyone who asks of him.
Let us take the hold up (support) of the ‘Holy Spirit’ and live a ‘Holy Life’.
