"Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none,
and anyone who has food should do the same.”
Luke 3:11 (NIV)
We find it difficult to remove pin bones from the fish,
whereas we forget while some need to pick stones from their dish.
Be it our sweet crepe (dosa) or shining clothes (dress),
let's share our spares with the poor.
We pass by the needy thinking helping hands are many.
Why can't it be us?
So, let's lend our hands to the needy
and give them our extras with enduring love.

AMEN!
ReplyDeleteWe feel the difficulty in removing the fish bones from the cooked fish,
While eating a sumptuous meal.
We never feel that some are remove the sand and stones from the cooked rice,
While starving for one time meal.
Remember the farmers and the agricultural workers
Remember the unfortunates, the needy and the poors
Give, if we have more than sufficient.
Live, the given life, with content and patience.
Distribute the extras to the disadvantaged!
Dispense the extras to the deprived!
‘Won’t there be someone to do good to them?’
We may think and move on!
‘Why can’t that someone be us, chosen to help them?’
We must realize and work on!
Let us give food to the hungry,
Let us clothe the poor,
Let us bless the needy, and
Let us continue do good, with
whatever we have more than adequate.
GOD BLESS!!
