On this same day, Apostle Thomas, a disciple of Jesus Christ who came to India
and shared the Gospel was murdered brutally at Mylapore, Chennai.
Missionaries and servants of God who served Him faithfully mostly were tortured and killed.
We are now enjoying the selfless service of many missionaries who left their luxurious lifestyle
for the sake of Gospel, and to introduce Christ to others who lived in the darkness and
kept Jesus Christ as the centre of their life and served Him faithfully.
And of course, many missionaries never returned to their home land
even once in their life and died and were buried here too.
So, let's thank and praise God for their sacrificial life and
continue to proclaim the Gospel with grateful heart.
