IMPLICIT FAITH

Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family
And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you.. . . . .
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Genesis 12:1,3 (Holy Bible, NKJV)

The Lord called a man who had lived as a prince for three-quarters of a century and said to him,
"You leave everything, your caste, tribe, house and country and go to the land that I will show to you,
and my blessings will be yours and you will also become a channel of blessings to others."
Abraham immediately obeyed the Lord's word.

The faith in the Lord was the only reason that Abraham obeyed and departed as if nothing could have
flooded him in vain. It was that faith that elevated him to the father of all believers.
Let us pray to the Lord to grow in faith that leads to this immediate obedience.

If the faith in the Lord be our anchor
then obedience to His word will become our driver (ferver).
