ONION - GARLIC

We remember the fish we ate in Egypt at no cost—
also the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic.
Numbers 11:5 (Holy Bible, NIV)

The memories of the past life of Israelites disturbed them
though they praised and worshipped God joyfully.
The lust for the sumptuous food strived them to murmur.
The Israelites forgot the intention of their journey and
lamented about how they enjoyed eating delicious food earlier.

The thoughts of the Israelites who forgot that they are marching on a victorious journey
and argued for the onion and garlic are yearning to teach us some lessons to our thoughts.

Let's pray to God to provide us enough self control to overcome
our short comings and lustful thoughts to avoid snares.
