.....Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses..... They said, “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?
Hasn’t he spoken through us, too?” But the Lord heard them.

For the initiation of the partition inside their own family and the competition of "Who is greater?",
Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses. It doesn't seem that Moses reacted to this criticism.
But God heard that and took it seriously. He punished them as they did mistake.
Though we are all one body in Christ, we are no lesser in keeping grudges & practicing discrimination.
If the parts of the body function according to their own will or try to raise one's banner
high above everything or fight among themselves or whatsoever, the whole body suffers as a result.
If Christ is the priority & centre of our life, we don't need to be a fighter.
